What We Do
Daycares - Afterschool Programs - Camps
Our list goes on, just give us the space, the kids and we’ll get to work. As our coaches begin working with your kids you will see how much we enjoy what we do. We take our time teaching kids the fundamentals of the game by using different drills and fun activities. We understand kids are exploring their interests and identifying what they like to do and one of our many goals is to keep them involved and excited about the game. While getting kids familiar and improving their basketball skills, we focus on some academy keywords.
Building the CONFIDENCE in our young kids is probably the most important to us at the academy. Helping them understand that no matter how big the obstacle, they must try; otherwise they’d never know how successful they could be. We emphasize this and help them understand that it transfers over to their daily activities.
HARD WORK is a main focus at 4 The Kids Basketball Academy. We want the kids to understand that you always need to push yourself to become better at whatever it is your trying to accomplish. Dribbling, Passing, Throwing, Swinging, Swimming, Writing, Reading… you get our drift. With the right attitude and HARD WORK these kids will get better.
At the academy, emphasizing TEAM play comes naturally. We explain and show the kids that working together, they have a better advantage of winning a game or completing a relay. There’s no “I” in TEAM, but there’s an “I” winner and that’s what we want our kids to be. Working as a TEAM they can accomplish that.
From day one, we stress the importance of DISCIPLINE to the kids. We stress that they need to listen, focus and pay attention to their coaches, parents, teachers etc. If they fail to do so, they wont understand instructions, rules or objectives being given to them.
Are you ready?
We’ve moved around a bit and have enrolled our kids in different sport Programs. Coach Jason from 4 the kids basketball academy has been one of the best coaches thus far. He was very attentive to the kids and knew how to handle different kids accordingly.
Thank you again for the season.
